Solutions In-Home Care is seeking dedicated Home Care Aides who embody our Core Values to become part of our team. In this role, you will provide direct support to clients, adhering to individualized care plans within their residences. Your compassionate approach will not only ensure personalized and attentive assistance but also foster meaningful connections with those you care for. You should be meticulous, well-organized, and devoted to establishing a nurturing atmosphere that addresses the needs of the clients. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for success in this position. Previous experience in Home Health, Dementia, or Hospice care is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including mobility, dressing, bathing, and transportation.
  • Support clients by providing personal care, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing meals/snacks.
  • Document patient care, conditions, progress, or concerns, and communicate observations with supervisors.
  • Engage with clients through conversation, games, or reading to promote mental well-being.
  • Provide medication reminders as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) certification.
  • Instructor-led CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Food Handlers Card.
  • Ability to comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Compassionate, respectful, and ethical demeanor.
  • Ability to engage clients in physical activities or other therapeutic exercises.
