Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Grants and Funding Coordinator to join our team at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of our grant programs, including document management, data entry, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Administration: Assist with the submission of grant applications, process applications in preparation for grant review and implementation, and compile reimbursement packages for review by the Grants Specialist.
  • Document Management: Maintain grant files and ensure grant applicant deadlines are monitored.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Assist tourism partners by attending and presenting at workshops and conferences, and provide general administrative support.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of business and grants management.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience in business, public administration, grant management, hospitality marketing, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
