Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist to join our team at the American Pharmacists Association. As a key member of our certification team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, evaluate, and enter applications for certification in BPS specialties
  • Ensure accuracy of records in BPS database system for all candidates and certified pharmacists
  • Generate routine and specialized reports in BPS database
  • Process and respond to inquiries about BPS, application procedures, and other related matters
  • Compose, proof, and distribute technical and informative correspondence to potential candidates, certified pharmacists, and other stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain files for BPS-related projects
  • Serve as the BPS point of contact with the APhA Administrative Services team
  • Provide administrative support to the BPS Board of Directors and Specialty Councils

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of administrative or project management experience
  • Experience with quality management, accreditation, and/or certification programs preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
