Patient Care Technician PRN

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with licensed nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain vital signs and measurements, and provide or assist with basic care and activities of daily living.
- Help with ED/clinic visits, patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Assist with customer service needs and communicate patient/family information to other healthcare team members.
- Perform clerical duties, such as serving as a receptionist, managing telephones, and obtaining supplies and equipment.
- Ensure patient supplies and equipment are organized, clean, and properly restocked for optimal cost effectiveness and availability.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Related field experience - 1 year
- Technicians - 1 year of experience, AC employee with clinical experience or completion of a semester of healthcare curriculum
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Arkansas Department of Long Term Care
- Registered Medical Assistant
