Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain vital signs and measurements, and provide or assist with basic care and activities of daily living.
- Help with ED/clinic visits, patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Assist with customer service needs and communicate patient/family information to other healthcare team members.
- Perform clerical duties, such as serving as a receptionist, managing telephones, and obtaining supplies and equipment.
- Ensure patient supplies and equipment are organized, clean, and properly restocked for optimal cost effectiveness and availability.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience in a related field
- Recommended certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Registered Medical Assistant
