Essential Qualifications – Licensed Pharmacist
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution
- Active Licensed Pharmacist in the state of employment
- Certified Immunizer through APHA (this is in addition to the license)
- Minimum of 6 months of professional experience as a Pharmacist.
- Enthusiastic about the pharmaceutical field, with a strong focus on customer service and patient care, aiming to make a positive impact in the industry
- Open to the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role as a Healthcare Services Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Manager
- CPR or BLS Certification required
- Hepatitis B Statement – All Immunizers must complete a Hep B Virus Statement or declination.
- Willingness to travel to various locations and long-term care facilities (subject to location)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
- Must be adaptable: Locations, travel (if applicable and typically minimal between 20-30 miles), and shift times will vary based on the needs of the location.

Position Overview:
Insight Global is in search of several Immunizer Pharmacists for a prominent retail pharmacy. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for administering a variety of immunizations, including but not limited to Covid, flu, rabies, typhoid, and boosters. The Immunizers will be tasked with delivering vaccines based on the specific regulations of the state they are operating in. Responsibilities include administering vaccinations at retail pharmacy locations, as well as potentially traveling to additional store sites and long-term care facilities. Following the contract period, Immunizer Pharmacists will have the opportunity to transition into permanent positions within the retail pharmacy as a Healthcare Services Pharmacist (HSP), Staff Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Manager. The ideal candidate for the HSP position is a Pharmacist who is dedicated to making a significant impact within the organization and the broader industry. This role will not involve filling prescriptions but will encompass all other clinical services offered by the pharmacy to its clientele. The Pharmacist will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service and clinical support to patients. Responsibilities include greeting patients and assisting them with the pharmacy's offerings. The Pharmacist will ensure that patients are informed about the healthcare services available, including patient consultations, medication management, and drug therapy reviews. Clinical or wellness services may involve immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcome services. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for effectively scheduling immunization appointments and managing daily walk-ins alongside other responsibilities.
