Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Water Treatment Technician to become a vital part of our team in the Engineering sector. The selected candidate will be essential in maintaining and enhancing the water treatment systems across our facilities. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in water systems, a meticulous approach to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of water quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Treatment Technician, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Operating and maintaining water treatment machinery, ensuring optimal functionality at all times.
  • Conducting routine inspections and analyses of water samples to detect any potential issues or contaminants.
  • Interpreting test results and making necessary modifications to treatment processes to ensure adherence to water quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying any malfunctions within the water treatment systems.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance strategies for all water treatment equipment.
  • Adhering to all safety and environmental regulations associated with water treatment.
  • Documenting all activities performed, including issues identified and corrective actions taken.
  • Staying informed about advancements in water treatment technologies and methodologies.
  • Providing training and support to fellow team members on water treatment processes and protocols.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of water treatment operations.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role within the Engineering sector.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with water systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software and systems pertinent to water treatment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Physical fitness, capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in various environmental conditions.
  • A dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field of water treatment.
