About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at Amergis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' communication skills to identify disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to minimize the impact of communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track student progress and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • The ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
