Job Description

CT Consultants, a leading engineering and architectural consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our team in our Blue Ash, OH office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in field surveying, office skills, and a strong background in ALTA and Boundary Surveys, Topographic/Existing Condition & Route Surveys, and Construction Layout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Survey Function Management: Oversee the survey function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of survey data.
  • Estimating and Proposal Writing: Prepare estimates and write proposals for survey projects, highlighting the company's expertise and value proposition.
  • Scheduling and Crew Management: Schedule survey crews and manage their activities to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Data Collection and Processing: Determine the most appropriate data collection method and process field data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Base Mapping and Plat Preparation: Manage the base mapping process, prepare plats, and easements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the safety of survey crews and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Ohio or Kentucky P.S. license is required
  • Experience managing and directing less experienced staff
  • Proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management experience of land development projects
  • GIS and laser scanning experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D needed, Trimble product experience helpful
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
