Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team at Verdantas. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the survey function, preparing estimates and writing proposals, scheduling survey crews, and determining the most appropriate data collection method.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the survey function, including:
    • Preparing estimates and writing proposals
    • Scheduling survey crews
    • Determining the most appropriate data collection method
  • Perform field data preparation, record research, processing the field data, verifying the accuracy of survey data, and survey calculations
  • Manage the base mapping process, preparing plats and easements
  • Ensure the safety of survey crews
  • Maintain equipment

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Ohio or Kentucky P.S. license is required
  • Experience managing and directing less experienced staff
  • Proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management experience of land development projects
  • GIS and laser scanning experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D needed, Trimble product experience helpful
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
