Job Summary:

This role is part of the technical marketing and application engineering team, responsible for defining and developing analog IC products for DC-DC power conversion solutions. Key responsibilities include competition analysis, simulation and bench verification for new product ideas, authoring product specifications, providing reference designs, evaluating new products, and writing datasheets and application notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AEs, IC designers, packaging, and field team to define innovative products.
  • Work with customers on system designs with existing products or developing new products.
  • Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers.
  • Write datasheets, application notes, and design notes.
  • Monitor market requirements and track key customer project status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing.
  • Familiarity with Buck and Boost converter topologies.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing and debug is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

  • San Jose, CA; Kirkland, WA; Chandler, AZ.
