Job Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our Advanced Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to engineers in the development and testing of new power electronic designs.
  • Apply experience and skills to assist in the design of new welding equipment.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Build and integrate prototype electronic circuits into machines.
  • Operate basic lab equipment, including meters, oscilloscopes, and temperature recorders.
  • Run a wide variety of design verification and compliance tests.
  • Gather, maintain, compile, and manipulate technical data.
  • Create detailed documentation of test results and various investigations.
  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • 3+ years of related experience or Associate Degree in related field and 5+ years of related experience or 10+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Understanding of basic electronic components and lab equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to learn SAP.
  • Ability to perform hands-on work and lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle a constantly changing set of priorities.
