Behavior Analyst - Middle School

KIPP Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Behavior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and behavioral success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavior Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and/or brief functional analyses (FAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
    • Develop and implement function-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address these behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
  • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Select and implement data collection tools to measure target and replacement behaviors, as well as treatment fidelity.
    • Graph and monitor data to assess the effectiveness of BIPs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Provide training and coaching to school-based staff on classroom behavior management techniques and BIP implementation.
    • Collaborate with school-based teams to develop and implement strategies to support student behavior and academic success.
  • Campus Support
    • Work closely with campus-based student support teams to develop and implement behavior support plans.
    • Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student behavior and academic success.
  • Regional Responsibilities
    • Embody KIPP Massachusetts' Code of Conduct and promote a culture of excellence, equity, and inclusivity.
    • Participate in regional professional development and community events to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • 2-3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families using behavior analytic technology across a variety of diagnoses.
  • Expertise in developing, writing, implementing, and training staff around behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Computer literacy and baseline familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Pass criminal background checks.
