Job Summary

The Choral Assistant - Student Position is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the Choral Area at Ithaca College. As a student employee, you will work closely with the Director of Choral Activities and Choral Area faculty to support choral activities in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent attendance and participation in choral ensembles and performances.
  • Communicate effectively with ensembles regarding music, scheduling, events, and participation.
  • Record accurate attendance for ensembles as assigned.
  • Act as a liaison between students and professors.
  • Organize information related to student leadership opportunities and choral concert programming.

Requirements
  • Strong familiarity and involvement with the Choral Area at Ithaca College.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility.
