About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead II to join our Operations Hub team, responsible for data-driven and AI products and platforms that are essential to our customers. As a Technical Lead II, you will be a player-coach responsible for leading a small team of engineers and collaborating with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Tech Leads to define and share relevant, compelling, and challenging goals for your team.

You will work across teams with other TLs to resolve cross-team issues, proactively take ownership of your team's on-call health and product reliability and quality, and have an interest and opinion in the direction of the product. You will also proactively look to grow the members of your team to enable them to take on harder and harder tasks.

We are looking for a strong senior engineer with experience leading small teams, open to experimentation and new ways of doing things, and a thirst for technical challenges in machine learning and distributed systems. You should have a customer-centric attitude and be able to develop opinions about the HubSpot product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of engineers
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Tech Leads
  • Define and share relevant, compelling, and challenging goals for your team
  • Work across teams with other TLs to resolve cross-team issues

Requirements:

  • Strong senior engineer with experience leading small teams

What We Offer:

  • Cash compensation range: USD Annually
  • On-target commission for employees in eligible roles
  • Annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles
  • Eligibility to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs)
  • Overtime pay for eligible roles
