AscentDS is a leading private lending platform serving real estate developers nationwide in the acquisition, renovation, and construction of residential real estate.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to drive loan originations by managing the entire sales cycle and ensuring efficient workflows across multiple teams, including Sales, Underwriting, Construction, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through loan funding.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to transform lending opportunities into successful, funded loans.
  • Work closely with divisions such as Credit, Operations, Construction, and Valuations to create, enhance, and facilitate a seamless process.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process and introduce clients to the AscentDS team.
  • Coordinate the workflow between Credit, Underwriting, Construction, and Operations to ensure loans close on schedule.
  • Effectively communicate the AscentDS value proposition to both existing and prospective borrowers.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Credit teams on loan/deal analysis, structuring, packaging, pricing, and borrower approval.
  • Manage the collection of client financial reports and oversee project status updates.
  • Follow up with clients on loan payments and monitor interest reserves.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate/construction lending, underwriting, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a California Real Estate license is required.
  • Proven experience in a sales environment with a strong focus on client relationship management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with high-powered clients and their teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and other computing systems.
