Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Quantitative Analytics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our team, working closely with stakeholders to develop, execute, validate, and document proprietary valuation models and property price indexes.

As a Lead Quantitative Analytics Specialist, you will synthesize and share attribution and sensitivity analysis with management, performing what-if or strategic analysis to investigate how contemplated changes to loan terms might impact financial outcomes for Fannie Mae and borrowers.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to discuss options and arrive at a recommended approach, ensuring seamless communication of complex financial results to management with presentations or memos.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience developing and running financial models or analyzing large datasets, and a strong background in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice and guidance to our team on quantitative analytics and financial modeling.
  2. Work closely with stakeholders to develop, execute, validate, and document proprietary valuation models and property price indexes.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with:

  • At least 4 years of experience developing and running financial models or analyzing large datasets.
  • A strong background in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R.
  • Experience communicating complex financial results to management with presentations or memos.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience developing and executing cash flow models/valuation/loss forecasting for loans or securitizations (such as CMBS, CRT).
