Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Winter Park Resort. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of security awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and protect resort assets, including buildings, vehicles, and equipment
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches
  • Provide assistance to guests and employees in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or security incidents
  • Conduct regular patrols of the resort to identify and address potential security risks
  • Collaborate with other resort departments, including law enforcement and emergency services, to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents and activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one season of experience in a security or law enforcement role, or equivalent
  • Valid Colorado driver's license required
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
