Job Summary

This role is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks on a continuous basis as part of a department that provides linen services to the Medical Center and its related rental properties. The position requires adherence to standards of linen services and sanitation for Accreditation and Licensure requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with written procedures, guidelines, and verbal instructions.
  • Clean and service units, rooms, areas, and facilities, including showers, tubs, sinks, and toilets.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor rotors.
  • Remove, handle, and transport soiled linen, trash, and medical wastes throughout the facility.
  • Perform manual sorting and folding of linens, and stack clean linens on shelves.
Requirements

A high school diploma is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
