Job Overview

This role effectively merges technical knowledge with consulting skills to assess and develop tailored solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities include understanding the client's vision and requirements, working across departments to deliver precise and comprehensive technical solutions, and identifying potential challenges and opportunities. The architect also serves as a technical advisor to the Marketing and Sales teams, aiding in the formulation of business strategies and crafting clear communication regarding technical offerings.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with client business and IT experts during the initial sales phase to establish and refine business and technical requirements. Lead technical discovery sessions, business justification, solution mapping, and customer requirement evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to effectively communicate the technical strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the company's products and services.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and propose innovative solutions when necessary, ensuring that all technical documentation and drawings are compliant with company standards.
  • Produce and deliver detailed floorplans to support project, design, and technical teams in implementing client solutions, incorporating insights from the Sales team.
  • Conduct network walkthrough assessments at client locations in partnership with design and engineering teams.
  • Transform client feedback and enhancement requests into actionable insights for engineering and product teams.
  • Share client feedback internally to enhance products, services, and marketing materials. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to proactively address customer and market technical needs.
  • Act as the primary technical pre-sales contact for key accounts, demonstrating effective communication and strategic collaboration.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Responsibilities may be adjusted based on business requirements.

Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology, or a related field; relevant education and experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience in client-facing technical sales or sales engineering, particularly in healthcare IT systems and infrastructure.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or engineering services.
  • Experience in Customer Success or Business Development is preferred, as this role requires a creative and thoughtful approach to client interactions.
  • Extensive experience in client account and project management, with a proven ability to plan and execute complex client engagements.
  • Demonstrated history of providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation

The Total Target Compensation (TTC) includes a base salary and incentives for achieving defined business objectives.

Working Conditions

Schedule: Regular hours for this full-time position are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for additional hours as needed.

Travel: This position requires approximately 80% travel.

Access to Customer Sites: This role necessitates performing duties in healthcare facilities, which may require vendor credentialing and compliance with specific health criteria.
