Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support healthcare providers, doctors, and hospitals by assisting in verifying medication coverage for patients with health insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive inbound faxes from providers regarding pharmacy prescriptions, containing essential information such as provider, member, and medication details.
  • Ensure all necessary information is complete, following up with providers to obtain missing details like the member's date of birth or medication dosage.
  • Enter all information into the database and run it through our system to determine prescription approval or denial.
  • Transition to handling inbound calls, gathering the same prescription information once proficient with the fax process.
  • Participate in training new associates as part of our team's growth.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and demonstrate proficiency in navigating databases and learning new systems.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a call center environment for at least 6 months.
  • Proven track record in data entry or relevant administrative roles.
  • Ability to maintain a private and quiet workspace conducive to remote work.
  • Reliable and high-speed hard-wired internet connection.
  • Proficiency in articulating computer skills and experience effectively.
