Role Summary: The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for assessing existing conditions, designing structural repairs, and developing protective envelope systems. This role includes managing bidding and construction processes, conducting field observations, and maintaining close interactions with clients and contractors.

Additional responsibilities may encompass conducting Milestone (MIP) and Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS) in compliance with newly established regulations. We are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic who can collaborate effectively with team members and clients.


Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check as per Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Engineering Intern License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in conducting structural inspections.
  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to drive, stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs consistently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Job sites may include challenging terrains and conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee construction projects.
  • Analyze engineering design challenges.
  • Calculate engineering specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical personnel.
  • Create prototypes and necessary plans for projects.
  • Utilize computer-aided design software for drafting and modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Evaluate construction quality and inspect project operations.
  • Interpret property conditions for construction and design.
  • Recognize and apply construction industry codes and symbols.
  • Understand and utilize engineering data and reports.
  • Maintain adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
