Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at YesCare. As a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and respond to patients requiring mental health services
  • Identify mental health problems and prescribe treatment under the direction of a physician
  • Implement mental health services utilizing therapeutic regimens approved by a psychiatrist
  • Provide mental health education to patients, healthcare staff, and correctional staff
  • Document all mental healthcare contacts
  • Adhere to safety and security policies and participate in disaster drills
  • Follow security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications
  • Delegate to and supervise other appropriate infection control practices
  • Adhere to Universal Precautions and other appropriate infection control practices
  • Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college/university Nurse Practitioner program with current license/certification in the state in which working
  • Current CPR certification
  • Availability to participate in on-call schedule
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements
