Position Summary: The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising the preparation and submission of federal, international, and state tax filings. Your in-depth knowledge of ASC 740 will be essential for ensuring precise reporting and adherence to tax regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of federal, international, and state tax filings.
  • Guarantee compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax provisions in line with ASC 740.
  • Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at reducing tax liabilities while supporting business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to gather necessary information and resolve tax-related matters.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and assess their implications for the organization.
  • Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and other departments on tax-related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a Big 4 firm and/or public company, focusing on federal, international, and state tax returns.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 740 and its application.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
