Job Summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the construction of factory-built housing within our manufacturing plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine blueprints to determine structure dimensions and ensure accurate production schedules.
  • Assign employees to meet production schedules, interpreting company policies and enforcing safety regulations.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving issues.
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and improve productivity.
  • Calculate time card totals and production records, estimating and requisitioning materials as needed.
  • Set up machines and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise employees in the plant, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Effective planning and scheduling, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Experience in Manufactured Housing is preferred.
