Fitness Center Attendant

The Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service to hotel guests and members, ensuring quality service and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary levels of the facility. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering a high level of service and ensuring the overall success of the fitness center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional guest service to hotel guests and members
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitary levels of the facility
- Supply adequate amenities to guests and members throughout the facilities
- High School diploma required
- Prior experience working in a fitness center preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to fold and restock towels and gym equipment
- Ability to provide legible communication and directions
- Ability to create healthy juices and smoothies
- Ability to maintain a working area clean and orderly
- Ability to clean any and all areas, including bathrooms and showers
- Ability to stand for at least 90% of the time
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Ability to think clearly and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly
- Ability to understand guest service needs

- Ability to push and pull carts at least 200lbs daily without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity
- Ability to communicate with employees, managers, subordinates, and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity
- Ability to visually look at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel
