MetroPlusHealth is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine clerical and administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and archiving records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain office forms and procedures, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Operate office machines as required, including fax, copier, and scanner.
  • Assist in handling Verification of Employment Request(s).
  • Assist the department in preparing outgoing mail, sorting and distributing incoming mail, and coordinating the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
  • Manage hard and digital copies of employee records, including scanning and labeling employee records onto appropriate databases.
  • Assist in setting up potential employees for the pre-employment process.
  • Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material.
  • Assist in maintaining Employee Access Cards (ID cards), deactivating, activating, extending, or terminating as needed.
  • Assist with new hire and temp extension requests through ServiceNow.
  • Maintain office supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies.
  • Assist in coordinating Employee Engagement initiatives.
  • Function in the Admin Hub to process requests through ServiceNow.
  • Assist with coordinating and scheduling departmental meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned by the HR Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized coursework in general office practices, such as typing, filing, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Two years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC-based programs for production of documents and A/V presentations, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under supervision, understand and follow directions easily, and work independently, efficiently, and cooperatively with others.
