Job Summary

The County of Maui is seeking a highly skilled Grant Coordinator to join our team. As a Grant Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating grant programs, preparing and reviewing grant applications, and monitoring compliance with funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate grant programs for County departments and agencies
  • Prepare and review grant applications and supporting documentation
  • Maintain records of grants, including financial records, and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Prepare grant agreements, documents, reports, and other correspondence needed to facilitate the execution of grant agreements
  • Develop policies and procedures related to grant writing and the administration of grants
  • Provide technical assistance to community non-profit partners on grant-related matters
  • Represent the department/County at meetings on matters related to the grant program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, economics, sociology, or a related field
  • Four years of administrative or analytical experience involving monitoring, evaluating, and/or administering grants
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of public administration, supervision, public relations, and grant funding
  • Ability to supervise, assign, and review the work of others
