About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventive measures.
  • Assist in inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; technical school or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proven understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with CMMS programs and MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
