Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements.
- Conduct state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations.
- Work collaboratively with our team to troubleshoot guest concerns and provide effective solutions.
- Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections to ensure our guests receive the best possible service.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations.
- Assist with housekeeping functions as directed by management, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with our guests and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- A valid driver's license.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Ability to perform general service, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- A strong motivation to learn and grow professionally, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and exemplifies a positive attitude.
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Have the necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
