We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at King's Fish House - Rancho Cucamonga. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance the dining experience.
  • Input orders into our point-of-sale system and retrieve all alcoholic beverage items from the bar.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
  • Open wine and champagne bottles for guests at table and serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items using correct coursing procedure.
  • Acknowledge all guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to guests - however busy.
  • Interact in a courteous and professional manner with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Collect and process payments in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Support table resets, validating completion and accuracy.
  • Complete server close-out per restaurant standards and report tips at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages with food.
  • Minimum 1 year service experience.
  • Some wine and cocktail knowledge.
  • High school graduate, some college.
  • Current CA Food Handler's Card.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to maintain complete knowledge of the service standards.
