Commercial Maintenance Technician - Part Time Various Weekend Shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Commercial Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team on various weekend shifts. This position provides technical maintenance support to our site-based electrician, HVAC Technician, and other tradespeople.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical maintenance support to the site-based electrician, HVAC Technician, and other tradespeople.
  • Assist with various technical and non-technical tasks within a facilities environment.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Climb ladders.
  • Perform light carpentry and painting tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in safety and code regulations through seminars and other educational means.
  • Communicate with supervisors and clients on work performed and status of mechanical systems.
  • Use voltage testers and multi-meters to verify electrical current.
  • Read and understand English.
  • Start up and secure equipment in designated buildings as requested.
  • Assist with structural trades.
  • Work as a team player in a quality environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Answer trouble calls under direct supervision.
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance work.
  • Assist other tradespeople as required.
  • Perform reporting and note-taking as required.
  • Complete work in accordance with EMCOR Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
