Job Title: General Manager

Transdev is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our operations in Everett, WA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and reliable service, managing employee oversight, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven relationship builder with employees, clients, and union partners
  • Set commercial and operational strategic direction for the business unit team
  • Lead the management team and employee workforce to achieve corporate/property safety goals, service performance, and financial objectives
  • Identify and develop business growth opportunities
  • Optimize return on assets deployed within the business
  • Ensure services are provided within budget and develop action plans to improve operational efficiencies
  • Determine and deliver business unit budget
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and Transdev corporate safety standards
  • Manage all staff, development, and training in liaison with the corporate team
  • Ensure effective environmental compliance and sustainability management
  • Provide complete and accurate data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting
Requirements:
  • Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant field (or equivalent education)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a successful General Manager of a project of similar size and scope
  • Proven ability to grow and adapt quickly with performance and expertise in providing high-quality service to the community
  • Labor relations experience
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws
  • Thorough knowledge of ordinances and regulations underlying the transit operation
  • Ability to build solid and maintain strong working relationships with clients
  • Ability to manage cost control and financial budget
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of technology, apps, Wi-Fi, and transportation technology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently, strong attention to details
  • Ability to work effectively with union partners, including labor grievances and negotiations
