Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-end processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience by providing exceptional service and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and upholding our company values.
  • Take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed and communicating effectively with management and Associates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness and ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
