LHC Group is seeking a skilled Home Health Therapy Support Specialist to join their team in East Berlin, Connecticut.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

This position involves working as a Physical Therapist Assistant under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based treatment and exercise instruction to patients in their homes
  • Aiding patients in improving their well-being while following a set plan of care
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses and changes in condition to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and physician

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
