At Central Vermont Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role
Our Mental Health Support Specialists act as floating team members, delivering direct and indirect nursing care to patients across various departments. Your key responsibilities will include performing tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring effective communication with patients and their families, and upholding our Nursing Department and CVMC policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, have completed a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training program, and be registered as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont. A minimum of one year of LNA experience, preferably in acute care settings, is also highly desirable. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate your ability to perform basic nursing care skills and complete certifications in MOAB and Pro-Act within six months of employment.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, and more. You will also be eligible for a one-time Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 and relocation assistance up to $5,200.
