Vangst is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lab Director to lead our cannabis laboratory operations.
About the Role:
- Manage multiple analytical projects within the laboratory
- Develop and optimize laboratory methods and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements through documentation, audits, and corrective action
- Oversee all laboratory staff, including hiring and training new team members
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in a Natural Science or Chemistry required
- 5+ years of experience running a production laboratory with ISO 17025 certification is preferred
- 3+ years of cannabis laboratory management experience is preferred
- Cannabis safety testing experience is highly preferred
- Ability to manage a team of various positions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and new product rollouts/development
