Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, startup, and commissioning of new production lines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to maintenance and operations teams, troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement teams to drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Manage plant or equipment improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation of process improvements.
  • Safety and Quality: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality, ensuring a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
  • Engineering Support: Provide engineering support for new product innovation opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM): Work with operations, maintenance, and CI teams to develop and drive a TPM culture, focusing on planned maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
  • Mentorship and Training: Serve as a mentor to operators and maintenance technicians, driving shop-floor equipment and process ownership.
  • Results-Oriented: Analyze and own results/KPIs, acting with urgency and pace to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or significant (15+ years) of applicable technical experience.
  • Hands-on Attitude: Demonstrate a hands-on attitude, with the willingness and ability to work closely with personnel on the shop floor.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in project engineering, plant engineering, or other applicable technical roles.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrable experience with electrical, controls, and automation; 5+ years of experience providing technical engineering support in an automated manufacturing environment; experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
