About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing project activities, ensuring the success of our projects, and serving as the primary design liaison to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee project activities, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Act as the primary design liaison to clients, communicating project progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with our in-house team of architects, engineers, and planners to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Assign tasks and oversee the work of design and production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in architecture, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
  • Architecture licensure required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit design software, with the ability to produce preliminary and schematic designs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects and negotiate with clients.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other managers and leadership, clients, and in-house and outside consultants.
  • Client-facing experience and a willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and meetings.
