Position Overview
The State Teachers' Retirement System is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Information Technology Technician within the IT Budgeting & Administration unit.
The Enterprise IT Governance Division is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives, guiding technology investments, and ensuring the optimal utilization of technology through established governance frameworks and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough audits of IT invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness, and manage data entry into relevant systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders in a professional office environment.
- Utilize various desktop and cloud applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and accounting systems.
- Employ strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate processes and policies for effective problem resolution.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats across multiple platforms.
- Apply foundational knowledge of IT principles and practices, including ITIL, SDLC, and project management methodologies.
Candidate Profile:

- Experience in reviewing and auditing invoices.
