Job Summary
  • Clean, decontaminate, assemble, and disinfect reusable medical instrumentation in accordance with established protocols and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and departments regarding requests and delivery of sterile supplies.
  • Promote best practices in patient care through commitment to quality and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Perform assigned duties to maintain unit readiness and support quality initiatives, including quality control measures and emergency equipment checks.
  • Utilize computerized instrument tracking systems for efficient task completion and accurate documentation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required; certification as CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) essential.
  • No experience required beyond certification.
