Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Furniture Processor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, maintaining a clean and organized store, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • Provide accurate and effective communication with management and Associates
Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player with effective working relationships with peers and supervisors
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to train others
