We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our team at Total Mechanical Systems, LLC. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, and completing new HVAC system installations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Install new HVAC systems, including electrical components, to meet customer specifications
- Train junior team members on electrical systems and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and customers to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions
- Order and maintain equipment and supplies as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and a relatively clean driving record
- Must be a licensed E-1 or E-2 electrician in the state of Connecticut
- Must have residential electrical experience and a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Must be willing to work after hours and occasional weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients and customers
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform regular manual labor
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems
- Ability to learn by observation and hands-on experience
- Follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers
- Be open to learning new things and applying them quickly
