Job Title: Estimator Project Manager

At Deanna Nesbit & ociates, Inc., LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Estimator Project Manager to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and project management skills to oversee construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead multiple construction projects, overseeing all phases from estimating to completion.
  • Identify prospective project opportunities, estimate job costs, acquire subcontractor and material vendor quotes, and develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, implement solutions to address delays, cost overruns, or issues, and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and project specifications.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns or issues, and approve project deliverables, including work completed by subcontractors and material purchases.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies, and prepare reports and updates for senior management on project performance, including financials, timelines, and key metrics.
  • Negotiate and procure contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, and drive continuous improvement in construction processes and project management practices.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in excavation, site development, or utility installation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player mentality with the willingness to work in conjunction with the entire management team.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience with HCSS Software, including HeavyBid and HeavyJob, and proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
