Job Overview

This position requires the ability to analyze performance metrics, including social listening and campaign data, and translate them into actionable insights that will inform social strategies and content development aimed at enhancing engagement and fostering growth over time.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate experience in collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, including brand and creative teams, as well as external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of both short-term and long-term brand and campaign performance metrics, converting them into actionable insights. Provide social listening and sentiment analysis reports for programming across all cable entertainment networks. Conduct competitive analysis within the social media landscape. Establish social goals and KPIs across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and other emerging channels. Cultivate and maintain relationships, processes, and project timelines with internal teams across Creative, Media, Brand, Talent Relations, and Communications, as well as with external partners to ensure timely delivery of social reporting aligned with business priorities. Collaborate closely with the Director of Social Marketing to monitor performance and share insights that align with established objectives and KPIs. There may be opportunities to extend social marketing support to other NBCU brands.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in social media analytics and marketing, with a thorough understanding of social media analytics, platforms, and emerging trends. Proficiency in social media analytics tools such as Dash Hudson, TalkWalker, and Sprout Social, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, particularly in content ideation, copywriting, and publishing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all teams within the organization. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends on short notice.

Desired Attributes:

Strong attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to NBCU offices.

Additional Information:

This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office contributions a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
