Job Summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our operating room team, you will provide logistical and technical support for laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries, including setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining minimally invasive equipment.
  • Manage single routine procedures, including tower functions, pre-operative setup, and instrumentation knowledge.
  • Understand the functionality and connectivity of video components and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist and interact with physicians and clinical staff to ensure preferences are met.
  • Complete documentation forms and ensure supplies are stocked and available.
  • Sterilize and decontaminate equipment and instruments, and dispose of refuse.
  • Participate in shadow and/or tray call coverage assignments.
  • Learn and adhere to policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • CPR certification, preferred.
  • No experience necessary.
  • Healthcare experience or training, preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
  • Must live within 30 minutes of our contracted hospitals.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in a call rotation.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-hire medical aptitude test and company required education modules.
