Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Registered Dietitian I PRN at TriStar Food & Nutrition is a qualified dietetic professional with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. This role involves:
- Conducting nutritional assessments and developing intervention strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress through the Nutrition Care Process.
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
Essential Duties:
- Utilize nutrition screening tools to identify patients at nutritional risk.
- Implement the Nutrition Care Process for patient assessment and intervention.
- Develop care plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Deliver nutrition counseling to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Adhere to evidence-based guidelines and departmental protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian certification within six months of hire.
- State licensure as a Dietitian within six months of hire.
- Maintenance of a professional portfolio with continuing education credits.
This position is essential in ensuring quality patient care and safety, as well as participating in performance improvement initiatives. The Registered Dietitian will also engage in educational activities, mentoring fellow professionals, and maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
