Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Keene, NH. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients, under the guidance of RNs or physicians, encompassing tasks like medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Patient Assessments: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, involving physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to craft personalized care plans.
  • Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments meticulously, guaranteeing accurate dosing and adherence to established protocols.
  • Wound Care: Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Continuously monitor and meticulously document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices, with a focus on overall well-being.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary.
  • Infection Control: Adhere rigorously to infection control procedures, encompassing proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections from spreading.
  • Medication Handling: Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, in strict accordance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and support.
  • Professional Development: Stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and training.
  • Supervision: In certain cases, LPNs may supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) or unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid LPN License: Possess a valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS Certification: Hold current BLS certification.
