We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Installation Technician to join our team at Prince Telecom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic internet and telephone services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Install, set up, and configure residential networking equipment, including ONTs, routers, and switches.
  • Perform testing on company-issued devices and customer devices to ensure service operates within prescribed parameters.
  • Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
  • Drive a company vehicle between work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment to ensure readiness for required duties.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and report work order status updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Have experience working in tight spaces, such as crawl spaces or attics.
  • Be comfortable working in inclement weather.
  • Have effective communication skills.
  • Be able to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Be able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with a weight of up to 80 pounds.
