Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Success Advisor to enhance the educational experience at Joyce University. In this capacity, you will deliver essential administrative assistance in student services through advising, mentoring, and direct engagement with a designated group of students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist assigned students with various needs, including scheduling, course management, study techniques, and time management strategies.
  • Coach students on professionalism and uphold standards for academic integrity and conduct.
  • Organize and facilitate student workshops and monthly appreciation events.
  • Monitor and provide reports on students identified as at-risk.
  • Encourage and supply resources to students facing challenges with grades or attendance.
  • Engage in proactive outreach to students, offering support and resources to foster academic success.
  • Document all student interactions within the student information system.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to student inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with university departments to promote student success.
  • Comply with FERPA regulations.
  • Assist with orientation, graduation, and other student-related events as needed.
  • Maintain student areas to ensure cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Minimum requirement: Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 2-3 years in a related field, preferably in higher education.

Location: Draper, UT

Employment Status: Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week
